Since Portia was chosen as the second generation heiress, her siblings were free to go on with their lives. Rose knew that she wanted to move out and get on with her career, but first she wanted to give back to her mother who had given her so much throughout her life. She decided to continue drilling throughout the yard for gems that she could sell in order to bring in more money. Her mother had never had a bedroom of her own and she wanted to surprise her with one.
Andee was still just as great a mom as ever. She continued to care for her two youngest daughters while the rest of her girls were at school. Rose helped her out sometimes, but Andee knew that it wasn't fair to ask her to take on motherly duties when she was perfectly capable herself.
However, the other girls did love to help take care of their younger sisters. Portia seemed to have a natural flair for motherhood, and she could almost always be seen interacting with her younger sisters.
Even Maeve and Maisie, who had had no interest in Payton or Portia when they were younger, seemed to have a soft spot for Hadley and Madisen.
Maeve and Maisie had an after-school program awards ceremony the next day, and the whole family made an effort to attend.
Rose opted to stay home and watch Hadley and Madisen so that Andee could attend as well.
While watching Hadley and Madisen, Rose decided to look online for a job. She wanted to find something which would cater to her athletic and ambitious traits and decided to take a job in the Athletic Career.
After returning home from the ceremony, Andee went to work in the backyard attempting to fill in all of the holes from Rose's drilling. Even though they didn't have much money, she still took pride in maintaining an image her family could be proud of.
Soon enough it was time for the youngest twin's birthdays. Maisie ended up skipping school and bringing both girls to their cakes (she'd developed an attachment to the twins lately). First up was Hadley.

Next it was Madisen's turn.

As soon as everyone had some cake, it was time for the girls to learn how to walk, talk, and go to the potty on their own. Rose took Hadley and started to teach her how to walk.
Maisie took Madisen and started teaching her how to talk.
Although she was out of the house a few hours each day for work, Andee was always thinking about her girls. Every night when she came home she couldn't wait to play with them.
However, every time she looked at her youngest daughters all she could see in their faces was Stan. She decided to finally call him over and break off their engagement. He had aged quite a bit since the night the twins were conceived, and his loss of looks only made it easier for Andee to be strong.
"You have never even tried to come see your girls. You weren't there for their births and you haven't been there for them since. They are two wonderful little babies and you don't even care enough about them. This engagement is off, Stan. This will never be your family, it's mine."
After a few deep breaths, Andee told Stan to leave and she went back inside to help her girls complete their potty training. First to finish was Hadley!
Just a few hours behind Hadley was Madisen!
A few days later Rose was off to her first day at work. Although she was a bundle of nerves, she couldn't wait to start making a real living for herself.
In her absence, Maisie took on the role of family driller. Unfortunately, she didn't have a great sense of timing, and the neighbors kept coming over to yell at her for drilling so late into the night.
The next night was...PROM NIGHT! Maeve, Maisie, Payton, and Portia were all attending.
The whole night was extremely eventful. Portia won Prom Queen and started dating a boy named Kelly. Payton shared her first dance with a boy and started dating someone named Tony. Maisie also got asked to be in a relationship by a boy named Gus. Maeve however...is another story. She ended up going to prom with her father. (Yes, I'm serious. I don't know how it happened). So now her and Cycl0n3 aka her father are in a relationship (because apparently an elder and a teenager are capable of dating). Talk about drama...let's see how long it takes for Andee to find out.

After prom, it was time to celebrate Maeve and Maisie's birthdays. First to blow out the candles was Maeve. She turned out quite pretty actually, and her last trait is Evil. Her LTW is to be the Emperor of Evil.
Next it was Maisie's turn. Her last trait is Eccentric and her LTW is to be Swimming In Cash.
Maeve finally came clean to her mother about her relationship with Cycl0n3. Although Andee was extremely alarmed by it, she recognized that Maeve was an adult and could make her own life decisions. The only thing she asked of Maeve was that the relationship not occur under her roof. Maeve understood and considered it a reasonable request so she found a job in the Criminal career track and moved out of her childhood home.
Maisie on the other hand, was having some difficulties transitioning into her Young Adult life. The boy she had started dating at the Prom was still a teenager. She decided to continue on with her life in terms of getting a career and starting to be independent, but she didn't want to move out quite yet. In the end, she took a job in the Education career track.
Just a few short days later, Rose was able to afford to build and furnish a bedroom for Andee which could double as a nursery for the twins.
Before having the chance to see her new room, Andee had to celebrate her birthday.
She's still pretty good looking for an old lady ;)
After school, Payton and Portia invited their boyfriends to come over the house. This is Tony and he is Payton's boyfriend.
And this is Kelly. He is Portia's boyfriend.
In true twin fashion, both Portia and Payton received their first kisses at the exact same time.
Once Andee's birthday was over, Rose realized that her time at her childhood home had now come to an end. Maeve and Maisie were adults who were moving on as well, Payton and Portia were growing into lovely young ladies and were leading their own independent lives, and Hadley and Madisen were well taken care of in Andee and Maisie's hands. She could now move on and start her life as an individual.
It was soon time for Maisie's Graduation. She got dressed and waited for her family to join her.
As her mother and siblings walked alongside her, Maisie grew more and more anxious.
Finally the moment came for her to throw her diploma. She was awarded Most Likely To Never Leave The House by her classmates.
Post-grad celebration, Andee decided it was time for a makeover. She knew she was getting up there in age, but she still had toddlers to run around after. I think she looks beautiful :)
She also thought that it was time to make some changes around the house as well. Being a Natural Cook, she wanted to see an updated kitchen area for her family. This is the before:
...and this is the after! Andee still wants to get some more things but as of right now this is all she could afford.
She also decided to move all of the furniture out of the living room and move it into a corner of the main room.
This made it possible for her to officially give Payton and Portia a room of their own. Although it may not be much, and it's not nicely decorated, it's better than a pair of bunk beds in the main room.
Payton and Portia came home and loved their room. They were so excited just to have a place to call their own in their hectic home. Before they had time to relax however, they were summoned back to the high school due to their after school activities. Payton was elected Shop Captain of the Shop Club!
And Portia was chosen to be a writer for the school newspaper!
As a great end to the day of excitement, it was the twin's birthdays. First up was Hadley.

Will Maisie's boyfriend grow up before she decides to move on?
