The Durwood Legacy Ch.1

Welcome to my first chapter of the Durwood Legacy.  Our legacy founder is Andee Durwood.

Andee's five traits are Dramatic, Family-Oriented, Hopeless Romantic, Natural Cook, and Nurturing.  Her LTW is Surrounded by Family.

With the low funds that Andee has, she only had enough money for a bed, toilet, refrigerator, and shower.

Since she's going to need the funds to care for not only herself, but at least 5 little ones, she went into town right away and got a part-time job at the grocery store.

After nailing her job interview and getting hired, Andee wandered across the street to the park where she saw Hank Goddard.  She immediately went over and introduced herself.

She was instantly attracted to Hank, but he wouldn't even give her a friendly hug.  That's when she found out that Hank was engaged.

Not one to be deterred by trivial details such as a fiance, Andee tried to make the situation less awkward by using the last of her money to buy Hank some friendship flowers.  He could see that Andee was trying to make up for her inappropriate advances and he gladly accepted the gift.

As Andee sat on her toilet eating canned soup that night she couldn't help but think that she had to find a way to get Hank to like her.  She couldn't get him out of her mind and she really wanted to go on a date with him.

The next day after she got out of work, Andee invited Hank over for a sleepover.  It was an innocent night, and the two became good friends because of it.

As Andee paid her first bills ever, she decided that tonight would be the night for her and Hank.

As soon as Hank arrived that night Andee couldn't wait for the fun to begin.  She never could resist a man in uniform.

Without thinking, she grabbed Hank and kissed him right in the front yard.  To Andee's delight, he didn't pull away.

Within minutes, Andee and Hank had made their way to her bed where they continued to enjoy the rest of their evening.

The next morning after Hank left to go to work, Andee ran to the bathroom where she got sick.  She had just finished a bowl of spoiled canned soup so it was to be expected.

Andee got paid that evening when she got out of work and used the money on a stove and counter for her kitchen area.  Since she's a natural cook, she's been wanting a stove ever since she moved in.

For the first time since she'd lived on her new lot, Andee got to experience the warm deliciousness of home-cooked macaroni and cheese!

A few hours later in the middle of the night, Andee suddenly got out of bed.  Something didn't feel right.

And that's when she found out....She's pregnant!

In the morning Andee got a call from her boss saying that she was allowed to take three days of paid maternity leave.

She spent her newfound free time wandering around downtown, meeting some of the neighbors.  She was in the middle of a conversation with Dustin Langerak when she spotted the most handsome man she'd ever seen.

She rushed over to introduce herself and learned that his name was Cycl0n3 Sw0rd.  The first thing he did was congratulate her on her pregnancy.  When he touched her arm, she felt an instant connection.

As she waddled around looking ready to pop the next morning, she decided she wanted to invite Cycl0n3 over and get to know him better.

When he got to her home, the first thing he did was rub her tummy.  He was really excited for Andee to become a mother.  Even though he didn't know her that well he could tell she'd be a great mom.

Cycl0n3 agreed to sleep over and was really enjoying the time he got to spend with Andee when all of a sudden she went into labor.

It was the worst pain Andee had ever experienced in her entire life.  She knew she had to get to the hospital...and fast!

She called a taxi immediately and rushed into the hospital.

Although Hank hadn't tried to talk to Andee since the night they spent together, he had enough decency to show up for the birth of his child.

Andee left the hospital with a new bundle of joy to bring home.  Ladies and gentleman, meet baby Rose.  Rose's traits so far are Athletic and Loves the Outdoors.

Word got around town that Andee had finally given birth, and a neighbor sent over a special toy for Rose.

Andee invited Cycl0n3 over that night.  She'd been thinking about him all day and she wanted to apologize for freaking him out by going into labor during their sleepover.

Cycl0n3 told Andee it was no big deal and that he'd just been worried about her all day hoping that she was okay.

Andee couldn't keep her feelings a secret any longer.  She told Cycl0n3 how she felt about him, and asked him to please break it off with his current girlfriend.

Since Andee was his best friend, he agreed that maybe it was time to end things with his girlfriend and think about a more serious relationship.

After hearing those words, Andee took the plunge and went in for a first kiss which was sweetly accepted.

Andee was so excited that finally someone cared for her in the way that she cared for them.  Hank had never cared about her he just knocked her up one night and never called again.

Overcome with emotion, Andee dropped down to one knee and asked Cycl0n3 to make her the happiest girl in the world.

She waited for his answer with what she hoped looked like a winning smile on her face.

As soon as the word "Yes" came out of his mouth she jumped into his arms.

They exchanged rings in a quiet, private ceremony on the front lawn.

A few hours later, Cycl0n3 was taking a shower when Andee slipped in.  She had a little wedding celebration in store for him.

Two days later, Andee found out that she was pregnant again.  She was surprised.  Although she hadn't been too careful with Cycl0n3 the night of their wedding, she hadn't had any sickness with this pregnancy.

The next day it was time to celebrate Rose's birthday.  Cycl0n3 enjoyed the festivites in the background, not wanting to intrude on his step-daughter's celebration.

Rose aged up into an adorable toddler and Andee immediately started helping her work on her skills.  Since a new baby was on the way, she knew there wasn't much time to help little Rose complete them.

Andee also wanted to make sure Rose was entertained throughout the day.  She played with her all the time and made sure she was always taken care of.

Finally the day came when Andee went into labor.  Cycl0n3 was at work and couldn't leave because he was getting a promotion, so she hired a babysitter for Rose and got herself to the hospital.

A few hours later Andee left the hospital with not one, but TWO baby girls!

This is baby Maeve.  Her traits so far are Slob and Clumsy.

And this is baby Maisie.  Her traits so far are Absent-Minded and Heavy Sleeper.

Now that there are two new babies in the family will Rose start to get neglected and be left with nobody to play with besides her Imaginary Friend?  Tune in to the next chapter to find out what happens next!
