The Durwood Legacy Ch. 2

Life with two newborns wasn't as easy as Andee thought it would be.  In fact, her and Cycl0n3 never got a good full nights sleep anymore.  They woke up 4 times a night and when Cycl0n3 left for work in the morning, Andee was normally on her way back to bed for a morning nap.

Although they were a handful, Andee loved her girls.

After Cycl0n3 got his promotion, he and Andee were able to buy a few more things for their "home."  Such as walls. Pretty big necessity for any house.

As you can see they also splurged on a treadmill, couch, tv, and some lights!  It may not be much but it's a big upgrade.

Rose continued to spend all of her time with her Imaginary Friend.  Her parents were kept busy with her new twin sisters, but she didn't mind as long as she had Cuddles.

When she did have down time, Andee tried to use as much of it as possible with Rose...but it didn't happen nearly enough.

Andee and Cycl0n3 barely knew each other anymore.  Their lives revolved around work, money, and their daughters.  I don't think they've had any romantic interactions in weeks.  There's simply just not enough time.  The twins are some of the hardest babies to take care of I've ever had.

The next day was the twin's birthday.  I didn't manage to get any pictures of them with the cake because my computer kept crashing, but here they are.  Maeve has the hat on and Maisie has the bows.

Here's Maeve with her daddy.  She has his hair color and Andee's eye color.

And here's Maisie with Andee.  She has both Andee's hair and eye coloring.

Even now when the twins have become toddlers, they have different sleeping schedules.  Here, everyone in the family is sleeping except Maeve.  She's not tired AT ALL in fact.  I think this is going to be even more stressful now that all the girls are toddlers than when the twins were just babies.

Maeve just loves to defy the normal sleeping cycle.

Although her sisters are now toddlers, Rose still spends all of her time interacting with her Imaginary Friend.  Maeve and Maisie didn't get Imaginary Friends, and Maisie's a little jealous.  She crawled over to Rose hoping that Rose would offer to share, but Rose just pretended Maisie wasn't even there.

With the toddlers running Andee ragged during the day, and all of the appliances constantly breaking from being too cheap, I finally broke down and spent some money on a repairman.  He was there for HOURS fixing everything that was broken.

Although they have busy, opposing work schedules, Cycl0n3 and Andee want to make sure that the twins learn all of their skills before their birthday no matter how much it means their romantic relationship will suffer. Therefore, they spend every minute they're not at work focusing on the twins.  Here Cycl0n3 has just finished teaching Maisie how to talk.

And Andee has successfully just finished teaching Maeve how to walk!

Andee gained a celebrity star level when she talked to Dustin Langerak downtown that one time.  Ever since, paparazzi wander around the lot at all hours of the day and night taking pictures of Andee with her family.  Here they're capturing her and Cycl0ne during their nightly bedtime routine.

A few days later, it was time for Andee to help her first-born blow out her candles.  As she stood with Rose in front of the cake, she felt a mixture of emotions knowing that her daughter was going to be ready for school and more independence now that she was becoming a child.

Rose blew out her candles all on her own and got ready to grow up!

And here she is as a child! As you can see she has Andee's hair but she got Hank's eye color. Such a shame she has any bit of him in her considering he's been such a deadbeat dad.

When Rose finished her cake, she got a birthday surprise!  Her Imaginary Friend became just her size :)

At that moment Rose knew that she would never be alone ever again.  She would always have someone to turn to when her parents were busy taking care of her sisters, and she was so thankful for Cuddles.

Will Andee and Cycl0n3 be able to stay together to have more children with all the stress that has been put upon them with the twins? Or will their relationship suffer?

Will Hank Goddard ever return to see his daughter?
